As briefly touched on before, getting your make up and hair stylists organised is very influential on your time. Some people recommend having them come to you. Typically the mobile operators are geared towards the wedding industry and are more likely to cognisant of your needs. There are certainly benefits with that from our perspective. The biggest being that if you are stuck in the chair getting ready we will just start taking photos and record some of the early action of you getting ready.
With your make up we would suggest avoiding shiny foundations as they are generally not good for photography. I have read that carrying blotting paper with you to use will help keep the matte finish of the make up through out the day. Have a trial session if you can. That way you will be confident that they can deliver the service you need.
With your hair. A trial run is also a worthwhile effort. That way you can be confident that they will give you what you want. Find someone who comes highly recommended. Family and friends who have used them for a wedding are a good source of reference, especially if you saw the end product and liked it. This goes the same with stylists. Use people you have some idea about if you can.
Finally its important to stay hydrated. It will help you keep calm so drink lots of water in the days leading up to your wedding.
